As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, the Blind Judo Foundation relies solely on donations.
Our 2013 campaign aims to support 10 athletes training & competing for one year. Donations and donations-in-kind translate directly into equipment, class and gym registrations, and, for competitive athletes, travel and tournament fees. Typical costs for an athlete include:
- $50 = one tournament fee
- $150 = one night hotel stay
- $200 = one week gym stay
- $250 = one Judo Gi
- $350 = one round trip ticket to a national tournament
You can donate easily using your credit card via PayPal.com (no PayPal account required):
We also accept airline mileage grants for travelling athletes. And, through our partnership with Donate For Charity you can even donate used vehicles. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by state law.
